Technical Notation : What is bump steer and what it means to you ?
Bump steer is a term used to describe on how your suspension travels and the effects on your steering alignment
As a car is driven over rough surfaces the suspension moves up and down
If your tie rod ends are not the right length and at the correct angle, they will travel a different radius then the cars suspension, this causes your alignment to toe in and toe out as the suspension travels up and down
If your cars alignment is changing while you drive this will cause the vehicle to become jerky and unsettled
These rack and pinions have been designed to eliminate the bump steer
This will actually make your car handle better and steer more smoothly
